What is Golf Fitness training?

There are many reasons a player hits poor quality golf shots. The most common excuse is poor golf swing mechanics. Poor swing mechanics are often the result of a players physical limitations. The A.T.A.R.I. Golf Fitness Program will identify those weaknesses, design a player specific training program, and share the results with your PGA Golf Professional. The result is your body is now in a position to perform at a higher level of proficiency.

Golf Fitness Screening

A Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (CGFI) will take you through a series of tests to determine if you have physical limitations that can affect your golf swing. The client will be evaluated using the Titleist Performance Institutes Evaluation process to assess balance, strength, stability, mobility and flexibility/range of motion. This evaluation is critical in developing a fitness program that will improve the client's physical capability of performing an efficient golf swing.


Video Analysis of Golf Swing

You will also have the option of having a TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor take you through a video analysis of your golf swing to help identify any of the12 most common swing faults. The video analysis combined with the golf fitness evaluation, and will help our TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor provide you with a more thorough golf fitness

training program.

Review of Evaluation Findings

The findings of the Golf Fitness Evaluation will be compiled into an easy to understand document that details stability, mobility, posture and balance. These findings are discussed and are the basis for the client's physical conditioning program designed. Initially, these findings are discussed with the client to prioritize their golf specific goals in order to achieve the best possible results. In addition, they can be shared with the clients PGA teaching professional, medical professional, and sports psychologist.


Golf Fitness Training Program

After our Certified Golf Fitness Instructor performs the golf fitness evaluation, a detailed exercise program will be given for you to take home or on the road. You will also have the option of setting up personalized one-on-one training sessions with our TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.

  • Adequate cancellation notice is 24 hrs to reschedule appointments.
  • All appointments are prepaid at the time of scheduled evaluation/training session.
  • Fees and payments are non-refundable.
  • Sessions and packages expire in 90 days.
